About Mirror, Mirror

“The unexamined life is not worth living” — Socrates
I learned to read at an early age and, at 9, I was reading at a college freshman level. Because I did not have the emotional maturity to understand rampant feelings in novels at this reading level, I turned to non-fiction. I eventually started reading novels, usually authors by the shelf, but always returned to my love of non-fiction.
In my years on this planet, I have spent a lot of time peering into the mirror of self reflection. I have always wondered why we are here, how we got here, where we are going, and what all that means. The more I learn, the more I know that I do not know.
My Mirror, Mirror posts are not a ‘memoir’. They are instead things that I have experienced or read or seen that altered my perception of myself or my behavior.
I do not know if these posts will be entertaining or instructive in any way. Still I feel compelled to share them with you.
